One way to nurture ourselves is by soaking in God’s promises. He has given us many promises in the Bible to negotiate the ups and downs of life. Focusing on His promises really helps calm me and keep me focused on God’s help, rather than the problems I face. I just started a new hobby making some short videos about Bible verses that are meaningful to me. I hope they will be an encouragement to you.
I made a short video to encourage you. No matter what you are going through or how discouraged you are, there is HOPE. Fear Not, for God is with you… click this video for more encouragement. God will help you and strengthen you for the road ahead. Sending you love, encouragement and hope! Isaiah 41:10
Wait for the Lord
Life can be so challenging. We all go through hardships and difficulties we never thought possible. How do we get through it? How do we hang on? It helps me to hang onto Jesus, waiting for the provisions He provides. He is with me each step of the and hears my cries. I am amazed at the ways He brings me encouragement, hope and help just when I need it. Watch for Him. Wait for Him. He hears you and will help you. Micah 7:7
Show Me Your Ways
Psalm 25:4-5 promises that God will show us His ways, even in the most difficult circumstances. He promises to teach and guide us. Our HOPE is in Him. Our job is to reach out and ask Him for help. This verse encourages me as a battle a terminal illness. No problem is too big for God. Watch this short video for hope and encouragement today. What touched your heart about this verse?
Let the Morning Come
Psalm 143:8 is such an encouragement to me. God’s love for us is unfailing. There is nothing we can do to cause us to abandon us or love us less. We can place our trust in Him to care for us and guide us. Our part is to place our trust in Him, even a little at a time. He is faithful.
The Righteous Cry Out
Psalm 34:17-18 is such a comfort to me. Jesus tells us that those who are courageous enough to grieve will be blessed and comforted. God draws near to us as we grieve. He is drawn to our vulnerability and suffering. He is here to comfort our broken hearts, soothe our fears, and give us hope. He is merciful to us during this grief process. He will bring us what we need to get through the grief, to get us to a better place emotionally. It is good to know that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted! He does not expect cheerfulness. God is compassionate and responsive. God is close—not far away.
